The "CFS - Culinary Initiative" mission is to honor and modernize Cuba's rich and diverse food culture, making the island a "Culinary Destination."
CFS - Awards
The CFS Awards will encourage creators to uncover Cuba's untold culinary stories. The awards will cover three categories: Documentary, Culinary Book Projects, and Outstanding Essays or Reporting.
Prizes and Guidelines to be announced in December 2018.
Starting in the second half of 2018, "CFS - Culinary Initiative" will organize meaningful two-way chefs exchange programs.
Our exchange programs will focus on modern cooking techniques, zero waste, and sustainable growth.
For the past three years, we have consulted and provided with meaningful culinary literature to Cuban restauranteurs.
Now, we want to widen the scope and help food producers, home cooks and aspiring chefs with their culinary educational needs.
